The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, passionate and motivated Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our award-winning MENA team in Riyadh, to work and lead on some of the most exciting sustainable projects in KSA, MENA and around the world.
In this new role you will be working closely under the guidance and supervision of a Principal Consultant. You will develop your existing knowledge and skills in Sustainability and Building physics, and assist with the development of energy and sustainability strategies for buildings and businesses.
As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, and working with colleagues across multiple offices, you will manage, inspire, analyse, report and model ESD projects and liaise with clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability portfolio, in line with Cundall’s Zero Carbon Design 2030 Target.
You will ideally have experience in a similar role within ESD consulting, be looking to take the next step in your career and increase your client exposure, job management and leadership qualities.

The Skills
- Engineering, Architecture or built environment-related degree.
- Mostadam Accredited Professional.
- A strong and proven track record of working on Mostadam projects
- LEED Accredited Professional.
- 8 to 12 years of experience within ESD consulting in the built environment sector.
- The ability to lead projects and junior staff and positively represent the business.
- Experience with preparing strategy, implementation and certification of best practice schemes, including LEED, Mostadam, Estidama, GSAS, BREEAM and WELL.
- Experience in building physics modeling (Energy, Daylight, Comfort, Parametrics) in general, and IES-VE software in specific.
- Solid understanding of the relevant industry codes across the region (including KSA), and demonstrable knowledge of the financial/commercial aspects of projects.
- Possess a body of knowledge allowing you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (mechanical, façade, spatial etc).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong Presentation & Reporting skills.
- Excellent Organizational, Time Management & Resource Management skills.
- Client liaison and relationship management throughout various stages of a project.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively planning to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage the various sustainability aspects of complex design and construction projects, with aspiring Net-Zero carbon targets.
Preferable, but not essential
- WELL AP.
- PMP
- Holding a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with Architectural modeling software platforms, including Revit, Sketchup & Rhino.
- Experience with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) using E-tool or equivalent software.
- Experience with ESG and Corporate Sustainability principles.
