The Team
Cundall’s Doha Office pride ourselves on our exemplary track record of designing innovative, sustainable and energy efficient solutions on some of Qatar’s largest and most challenging construction projects. To support our expanding operations in the Middle East, we wish to appoint a Structural BIM Technician to join our team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Structural BIM Technician to join our team at our office in Doha to take responsibility for BIM and CAD production, coordination and daily management of project data sets/workflows for design projects in Qatar.
As part of our established team of expert engineers and CAD/Revit technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare detailed information packages from Revit Structures in a BIM environment, implement 3D coordination with the Design Team.
The Skills
Having already been accredited with a relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent) and gained strong practical experience of using Revit structures in a similar building-based role, you possess an excellent understanding of relevant software packages including Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. Experience of Dynamo and BIM 360 would be beneficial but are not essential.
You will have an understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and LOD/LOI whilst also having proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines. You are adept at planning and organising your own workload and that of others within the team, and crucially – have a passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.
Given the collaborative nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture. Creating environments where everyone can find joy doing their best work is also great for everyone. That’s why we positively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and identities, and encourage, support, and celebrate the diverse voices of our people.
