Cundall Newcastle - Pushing the boundaries of the built environment
The built environment is responsible for around 40% of global carbon emissions, and those of us in the industry have a huge responsibility to help solve the problem. We must play our part.
For World Green Building Week (WGBW) 2021, Cundall’s sustainability leaders were joined by global industry leaders for a round table discussion that focused on our approach to climate change, the challenges we face, and how we can push the boundaries of the built environment together in the lead up to COP26 and beyond.
This will act as a catalyst for the industry to explore how far we can truly go in order to achieve net zero carbon.
Presented by
Duncan Cox – Partner - Cundall
Matt Dunlop – Head of Sustainability -Newcastle University
Tim Bailey – Head of Practice - Xsite Architects
Tim Saxon – Utilities, Energy and Sustainability Manager - Department for Workplace and Pensions
Lowri Bond – Project Manager, Community and Placemaking - Igloo
