The BCO annual conference provides a prime opportunity for professionals within the workplace sector to discuss key industry topics, network and delve into the latest developments within the office sector.

This year’s conference puts the spotlight on Manchester, where office developments from across the city will be showcased to conference attendees demonstrating the best of the best and a look into what’s to come for the city.

Six Cundall projects feature in this year’s building tours at the conference. You can find an overview of them below.

The Lincoln

This 102,000 sq ft statement office building is the centrepiece of the new regenerated Lincoln Square, linking Manchester Town Hall and Deansgate. We provided building services, fire engineering, BREEAM and vertical transportation on the project.

New Bailey

New Bailey is a large £650m development aimed at creating a gateway between Manchester and Salford. Spearheaded by English Cities Fund, the development includes multiple phases. We provided multidisciplinary engineering consultancy on One New Bailey, Three New Bailey, Four New Bailey and most recently Eden; one of the first buildings in the UK to have its operational performance verified by NABERS UK.

First Street

First Street has been coined as one of Manchester’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. We’ve supported Ask Real Estate with the development of this area spanning several years and multiple buildings. Our involvement continues with the design of further Grade A office space with sustainability and occupant wellbeing at the centre of design.

Windmill Green

Labelled as one of Manchester’s most sustainability buildings, Windmill Green is the city’s first BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rated multi let building. It also achieved WiredScore Platinum and has a Platinum CyclingScore accreditation.

Landmark

A 180,000 sq ft office development over 13 floors in Manchester’s central business district. Our teams provided building services and fire engineering, acoustics, sustainability and vertical transportation.

Mayfield

This regeneration project will transform a 24-acre brownfield former industrial site into a modern innovation quarter. We are working with The Mayfield Partnership - Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester, LCR, and U+I to deliver the overall sustainability strategy for the masterplan. We are also providing multidisciplinary engineering services on two of the office blocks.
