I believe the built environment is ultimately about people. This guiding philosophy encourages an understanding of project drivers and underlying relationship dynamics. In practice, I enjoy leveraging sustainable building frameworks to develop innovative, low-impact solutions that meet overall design intent.

I am passionate about the impact of effective design on achieving Net Zero goals. This has motivated me to undertake research and contribute to local journals on Passive House and its development in Australia.

Cundall’s holistic approach suits my collaborative, solution-focused mindset. I enjoy thinking laterally when engaging with engineering challenges such as optimising façade designs, which inherently involves multiple disciplines. Coupled with an ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple manner, this approach allows me to deliver holistic and client focused design outcomes.

Having worked on multi-disciplinary projects around Australia, I am particularly interested in the importance of a building’s fabric in ensuring high-performing buildings. Every project is an opportunity to further grow my acumen and expertise in building physics, life-cycle analysis, energy modelling and planning strategies.
