Having joined Cundall in 2014 to set up our in-house recruitment team, I was appointed Head of Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion in 2019, and am responsible for driving our industry-leading diversity and inclusion strategy. I am a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), accredited as Neurodiversity Aware®, and a long-time advocate for equality and justice. I am currently in my final year of an MSc in Inequality in Society.
Collaborating
Embracing difference is central to an inclusive culture, and as a global organisation we benefit from collaborating with colleagues from a wide range of identities and backgrounds. Listening to the perspectives of others is central to what I do, so I relish working in an environment of mutual respect, where discussion is actively encouraged.
Creativity through inclusion
Addressing workplace inequalities can be a sensitive issue. We can challenge structural barriers to inclusion by creating an environment that welcomes new ideas and is open to change. By raising awareness of workplace inequalities and encouraging everyone to share their experiences and ideas, we can find creative solutions to important problems.
