Valeria Riso

I joined Cundall in 2019 and have over 15 years’ experience in the transportation sector. I’m a chartered civil engineer and I chose to specialise in transportation as I have always been fascinated by how people move around and how travel patterns keep changing. My vast experience in development planning, traffic engineering, traffic and microsimulation modelling allows me to understand clients’ requirements. I am also a keen promoter of sustainable transport and travel solutions.

I share Cundall’s drive to make every project outstanding and better than the last one. I am a firm believer of the importance of continual self-improvement through training and knowledge sharing. Even if you feel you have done it all, there is always something else you can learn. As testimony to that, I am currently studying an MBA and a Master’s in Project Management.

I believe that collaboration is the key to success. By taking the time to understand what everyone has to say, you create an environment where everyone feels appreciated and trusted. This helps build strong relationships that not only benefit the team and the project, but also improve the quality of life of the people involved.
