Located in the Jimei District of Xiamen City, this project is a major component of the historical North Railway Station development. It consists of seven sub-plots comprising approximately 710,000m² of total construction area. This project includes large-scale urban mixed-use buildings with super high-rise commercial, retail, and residential blocks. The design also incorporates leisure opportunities with landscaped open spaces, pedestrian connectivity, and a sky park.

Cundall provided building services and smart building design for plots 2, 3, and 4. The total plot area covers 32,805m², with a total construction area of 133,650m². The challenges we addressed included managing the integrations between buildings, landscape and infrastructure, as plot 2 passes through the northwest corner of the subway, Plot 3 basement is connected to the North sunken square, and Plot 4 and 5 basements are linked together.

"We are honoured to be a part of this landmark development and to again collaborate with Vanke, one of the largest developers in China. This is the third project where Vanke has sought our expertise, and is a testament to the respect and trust we have built between our teams. We are inspired to work on this iconic, city-shaping development project." Joe Tang, Director.
